The Ph.D. program in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering is established with the aim of cultivating expertise at an advanced level in a specialized field of materials and metallurgical engineering. It encompasses a mastery of the scientific fundamentals within the specialized domain and the capability to address scientific and engineering problems while evaluating and analyzing them thoroughly. Graduates of this program, in addition to acquiring a deep understanding of highly specialized topics within the field of materials and metallurgical engineering, possess the competence to lead projects and conduct scientific research. They are well-equipped to engage with various technologies. This program is structured in two educational and research phases and adheres to the duration specified in the Ph.D. curriculum approved by the Supreme Council of Planning.

The Master of Science program in Biomedical Engineering - Biomaterials consists of a series of theoretical courses and research programs aimed at enhancing the theoretical and practical knowledge of biomedical engineering specialists in the biomaterials field. It provides a sufficient foundation for understanding and developing what is currently at the forefront of technology in this field. The goal is to train individuals capable of designing and supervising specialized projects in the biomaterials field. Furthermore, graduates of this program have the research skills necessary to address the challenges they encounter in their profession. Graduates of the Master of Science program in Biomedical Engineering - Biomaterials are expected to play a vital role in designing, researching, updating, optimizing, and managing the knowledge and technologies in the field of biomedical engineering related to biomaterials at all necessary levels of society in the highest global quality. Students in this program are selected through entrance exams from among graduates of biomedical engineering, materials engineering, or related fields, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

Considering the vast economic significance and global expansion of nanomaterial technology, along with its rapid scientific and practical advancements and the emergence of multiple research and academic institutions worldwide dedicated to this field, the establishment of the Nanomaterials Engineering program within the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at Babol Noshirvani University of Technology aims to further advanced education and compete in cutting-edge technologies at both national and international levels. Students in this program are selected through entrance exams from among graduates of materials engineering and related fields, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

The objective of this program is to educate the human resources needed for research, industry, and higher education institutions. Graduates of this program are expected to have the capability to actively engage in various research areas, including material design, material selection, material development and innovation, material failure analysis, and providing suitable methods for prevention, as well as conducting educational and research activities in the country's higher education and research institutions. Students in this program are selected through entrance exams from among graduates of materials engineering and related fields, following the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

A Bachelor's degree program in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering with a Materials Engineering concentration is offered at the Faculty of Materials and Industrial Engineering. The undergraduate program in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering with a Materials Engineering concentration is designed in a way that graduates of this program possess the necessary knowledge and expertise in various fields of materials engineering, aligned with the industrial needs of the country, enabling them to engage in industrial work. Furthermore, graduates of this program will be capable of pursuing master's and doctoral degrees in their preferred specialized areas, subsequently serving as design engineers, researchers, and educators, addressing industrial issues, fundamental and applied research, and educational domains within this field. This undergraduate program, like other undergraduate programs in technical and engineering fields, is typically offered over four years or eight semesters of study.
